This consultancy contributes to the "Regional Counter Smuggling Programme" (RCSP), funded by the UK Home Office, which aims to enhance border management and regional cooperation against migrant smuggling and transnational organized crime.
Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to conduct a comprehensive assessment to inform the design of capacity development activities for countries in the East and Horn of Africa (EHoA). They will draft country-level data processes aligned with the IC-TIP classification and obtain validation from government officials. The consultant will adapt data collection tools and develop country-specific capacity development materials, leading workshops and training sessions. Additionally, they will produce an evaluation report on capacity building success and a pathway report on integrating administrative data into national statistical frameworks.
