Responsibilities

The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world's largest humanitarian organization, dedicated to saving lives in emergencies and building peace through food assistance. WFP operates in complex environments, such as Haiti, which faces political instability, widespread violence, and economic hardship, compounded by natural disasters. In Haiti, WFP's Country Strategic Plan (2024-2028) focuses on emergency food aid, nutrition-focused social safety nets, strengthening smallholder farmers' capacities and resilience, and enhancing national and local capacities to combat hunger. This includes supporting smallholder farmers' integration into local supply chains through initiatives like the Smallholder Farmer Support Program (PASP). The role of an Identity Management and Data Assurance Officer is crucial to support the digitalization of WFP's interventions, including cash-based transfers (CBT) and in-kind distributions. This position will be based in Port-au-Prince and will be responsible for reviewing beneficiary and transfer data, generating key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing real-time analysis to guide operational decisions. The officer will ensure data quality, detect anomalies and fraud, develop identity management dashboards, and analyze data trends. They will also work to protect data privacy, collaborate with regional and headquarters teams, and build national capacity in data analysis. Key deliverables include implementing and improving digitalization plans, developing an IDM strategy, automating data extraction processes, operationalizing the PIT system, and strengthening national staff capacity in relevant systems like SCOPE and COMET.

Work Experience

The role requires at least five years of progressive experience in database management, mobile data collection tools, and technological analysis.
