Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Assistant (Retail) will provide technical, operational, and administrative support to Field Offices in the implementation of the Market-Based Assistance (MBA) program. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of food assistance by managing billing, financial processes, corporate system tracking, operational analysis, data management, and reporting. The incumbent will also support vendor management and development, ensuring compliance with WFP policies and procedures. By contributing to the efficiency and traceability of supply chain operations, this position directly impacts the successful execution of WFP's humanitarian mission in Venezuela.

Work Experience
Requires a university degree in Economics, Logistics, Marketing, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the public or private sector, with at least 1 year post-graduation experience relevant to the role's functions. Experience in program implementation, project management, or logistics operations is needed. Experience with international organizations or the humanitarian sector is desirable. Proficiency in basic digital tools (Excel, Word, data collection platforms) and strong analytical skills for information gathering and processing are essential. Fluency in Spanish and desirable English skills are required.
