Job Purpose

The CST HR & Payroll Transformation role is crucial for supporting WFP's strategic One Payroll Programme, a multi-year initiative to modernize and harmonize global payroll operations. This position will provide essential operational payroll support while actively contributing to the transformation's success. The incumbent will assist in business analysis, requirements gathering, process design, and system testing for new payroll solutions. Responsibilities include ensuring system readiness, facilitating business process harmonization, and supporting cutover and go-live activities. Additionally, the role involves providing functional support for existing HR and payroll systems, resolving user inquiries, and monitoring system performance to maintain business continuity during this critical transformation period.

Responsibilities

The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a CST HR & Payroll Transformation professional to support its One Payroll Programme. This role involves providing operational payroll support while contributing to the modernization and harmonization of payroll processes across the organization. Key responsibilities include supporting business analysis, requirements gathering, and process design for HR and payroll functions, from employee onboarding to separation. The incumbent will help validate business requirements, ensuring alignment with HR policies and system capabilities. They will also contribute to the design and harmonization of end-to-end processes, developing system solutions to enhance efficiency and compliance. Furthermore, the role requires preparing and executing system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT), and supporting cutover and go-live activities to ensure business continuity and minimize disruption. This includes assisting with payroll parallel runs and validation exercises. The position also involves contributing to change management efforts by supporting stakeholder engagement, preparing communications, developing guidance materials, and delivering training to facilitate the adoption of new systems and processes. Additionally, the role provides functional support for HR and payroll systems, acting as a liaison for HR users worldwide to resolve system and payroll-related issues. Maintaining data quality and integrity within HR and payroll operations is also a crucial aspect of this assignment, ensuring accuracy and consistency for processing and reporting.

Work Experience

Requires three to five years of post-graduate professional experience in Human Resources. An interest in international humanitarian development is also sought. Experience in data analysis, business analysis, and system testing/deployment is considered an added advantage.
