Job Purpose
The CST HR Time & Benefits role is crucial for supporting WFP's Human Resources Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI), particularly within the Payroll, Time and Audit Operations team. This position will provide essential operational support for time management and benefits processes and systems, while also contributing significantly to the ongoing One Payroll Programme. The incumbent will be instrumental in ensuring business continuity, facilitating the harmonization of business processes, and supporting the successful implementation of a modernized, standardized global payroll operating model. Key responsibilities include contributing to business analysis, requirements gathering, testing, and change management for payroll transformation initiatives, administering time management systems, providing user support, and ensuring data quality and governance for time and benefits-related HR data to maintain payroll readiness across the organization.
Responsibilities
The World Food Programme (WFP) is seeking a CST HR Time & Benefits professional to support its Human Resources Technology and Analytics Branch (HRMOI). This role is crucial for the ongoing One Payroll Programme, a major initiative to modernize and standardize global payroll operations. The incumbent will provide essential operational payroll support while actively contributing to the transformation program. Key responsibilities include supporting business analysis, gathering requirements, testing, and implementing changes for payroll transformation. They will also manage and enhance time management and benefits processes and systems, ensuring compliance with WFP policies and supporting payroll readiness. This involves acting as a subject matter expert for time management systems, providing functional support to users, and troubleshooting system issues. Additionally, the role focuses on maintaining data quality, promoting data governance, and ensuring payroll readiness through data analysis and validation. The position requires coordinating and performing testing for system enhancements, developing user documentation, and delivering training to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems. The goal is to ensure business continuity, system readiness, and the successful delivery of payroll transformation activities across WFP.
Work Experience
Requires three to five years of post-graduate professional experience in Human Resources. An interest in international humanitarian development is also sought. Experience in data analysis, business analysis, and performing testing and system deployment is considered an added value.
