Job Purpose

Responsibilities
The Business Support Assistant (Budget & Programming and Finance) role involves comprehensive budget monitoring and financial analysis to ensure compliance with WFP policies and donor requirements. Key responsibilities include reviewing budget plans, analyzing project financial performance, and making recommendations for resource optimization. The position requires providing basic analysis on fund and grant balances, identifying discrepancies, and supporting pipeline management to prevent operational disruptions. Accurate data entry into corporate systems and maintaining precise records are crucial for effective planning and decision-making. Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of prior experience in budget monitoring and finance, preferably within the UN or other INGOs, is required. Candidates should also have previous experience supporting the preparation and management of budgets.
