Project Support for Youth Digitalisation Movement for UNDP Malaysia

UNDP is a leading UN organization dedicated to ending poverty, inequality, and climate change by building integrated, lasting solutions. In Indonesia, the Youth Empowerment Initiative focuses on empowering young people to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The Youth Digitalisation in Employability and Entrepreneurship Programme (YDEEP) specifically aims to equip 200 youth with practical digital and Artificial Intelligence skills, fostering their confidence and application of AI in various productive activities.
Job Purpose
This role supports the UNDP Indonesia Youth Empowerment Initiative, specifically the Youth Digitalisation in Employability and Entrepreneurship Programme (YDEEP). The primary purpose is to assist the UNDP Youth Empowerment team by documenting learning materials and supporting training-of-trainers activities for 200 Online Volunteers. The assignment aims to enhance the digital confidence and AI knowledge of young participants, enabling them to apply these skills in education, employment, and entrepreneurship. The volunteer will contribute to monitoring training sessions, documenting feedback, and disseminating key learning points to youth communities, thereby strengthening the YDEEP project and promoting digital and AI awareness.
Responsibilities
Under the Youth Digitalisation in Employability and Entrepreneurship Programme (YDEEP), the volunteer will support the UNDP Youth Empowerment team. Key responsibilities include assisting in the monitoring and evaluation of Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions on Digital Safety, Data Privacy, and Responsible AI by attending sessions, documenting feedback, and capturing learning insights. The volunteer will also support the dissemination of key learning points and recommendations to youth communities to strengthen the YDEEP project and enhance youth-led digital and AI awareness movements. The role involves documenting discussions, feedback, learning points, and follow-up actions clearly and structurally. Additionally, the volunteer will collect, organize, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data, and utilize digital collaboration tools for program support.
Work Experience
Candidates should possess a certificate of completion from at least one learning module at Skillourfuture.org. Required experience includes strong abilities in documenting discussions and feedback, clear written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences, and the capacity to collect, organize, and synthesize data. Familiarity with digital collaboration tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office is also necessary.
