Job Purpose
The Ministry of Economy, UNDP Mozambique, and UNESCO are co-organizing a Tourism Business Breakfast in Maputo on November 10, 2026, themed 'Connecting actors to unlock tourism initiatives in Mozambique.' This event aims to gather public and private sector stakeholders to discuss tourism, identify implementation barriers, and define practical next steps. Utilizing a World Café format, the event will cover four key themes: skills and workforce, nature-based tourism, cultural and creative tourism, and branding, marketing, and access. The assignment's purpose is to design engaging thematic discussion cards and a clear event agenda to facilitate focused discussions and enhance participant understanding of the event's flow.

The organizing team will provide all necessary text, guiding questions, and event details. Each discussion card must effectively present its theme, provide brief contextualization, and include a guiding question with supporting inquiries. The event agenda needs to clearly outline the schedule and session flow. All designed materials must adhere to UNDP branding guidelines, ensuring readability for both on-screen viewing and print. The volunteer is expected to deliver editable design files along with final print-ready PDFs, incorporating one round of feedback from the organizing team.
