Capacitar en el Programa Oficial Game Changers Coalition Bolivia 2026
Organizational Context
UNICEF Bolivia, in partnership with AGETIC, is implementing the "Game Changers Coalition Bolivia 2026" program. This global initiative aims to reduce gender gaps in technology by strengthening the digital, creative, and technological skills of adolescent women in Bolivia. The program focuses on fostering inclusive and innovative educational spaces to enhance digital literacy, computational thinking, creativity, leadership, and collaborative work, inspiring young women to engage actively in the tech sector.
Job Purpose
The purpose of this online volunteer assignment is to build a national network of trainers who will contribute to the technological education of adolescent women aged 13-18 through virtual training and pedagogical support. Selected volunteers will receive specialized training in video game development tools, STEAM methodologies, innovative teaching strategies, and gender equality. They will then replicate this knowledge through virtual workshops for program participants, enabling them to develop their own video games. This initiative seeks to strengthen Bolivia's educational and technological ecosystem, promoting youth leadership and digital inclusion.
Responsibilities
Selected volunteers will actively participate in the "Game Changers Coalition Bolivia 2026" program. Key responsibilities include attending a 3-day virtual training covering basic educational video game development tools, art/design/animation principles for games, gender equality, innovative teaching strategies, digital education, and virtual session organization. Volunteers must then replicate this training for a minimum of 25 adolescent women through online sessions focused on video game development. A final report documenting the participants trained is required. This is an unpaid volunteer action.

No prior experience is required in using video game development tools. However, candidates should possess good computer skills, access to a computer and stable internet for training and replication sessions. Experience in training is desirable. Sensitivity towards children is essential. Excellent communication, empathy, and pedagogical skills for working with adolescents are needed, along with the ability to learn and apply innovative teaching methods.
