The Mexican Association of Psychology and Community Development is dedicated to the professional development of individuals, particularly vulnerable groups, through projects focused on mental health with a gender perspective. Their mission involves executing community development actions from a psychological standpoint, proposing creative solutions to clinical and community issues, and promoting human rights to achieve Sustainable Development Goals and gender equality.
Job Purpose
The Association seeks an Online Volunteer specializing in visual content for social media to enhance its mental health awareness campaign. The volunteer will create engaging multimedia content, including animated reels and stories, for social media and the web. This role aims to increase the quality and quantity of visual content, thereby improving interaction and expanding the reach of mental health messages. The volunteer will contribute to the Association's communication efforts by producing psychoeducational materials and innovative video templates, aligning with institutional image policies.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will collaborate with the communications manager and psychologists to: Create 12 reels (30-60 seconds each) in Canva using provided scripts, pre-defined images, and audio/music for weekly publication on Facebook and Instagram. Additional reels will be created for workshops. Design graphics for the Association's publications using Canva. Develop dynamic digital presentations. Compile a folder of designed templates in Canva for future content creation. Propose creative and innovative ideas for simple animated material (motion graphics), reels, and stories for social media platforms. Produce graphic content (reels) on psychoeducation, mental-emotional health, and Association services. Generate new, innovative video templates for content dissemination using Canva.
Work Experience
A minimum of one year of professional experience in multimedia design is required. Proficiency in 2D animation, use of pre-designed 3D elements in Canva (icons, objects, mockups), depth effects (shadows, gradients, layers), and 3D text styling (emboss, shadow, simple perspective) is essential. Experience in audio/video editing and maintaining visual coherence is also necessary.
Skills
Expertise in audio-visual content creation, communication, advocacy, and public information is required. Proficiency in Canva for graphic design and video creation, including animation and template design, is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also valued.
