Job Purpose
The Mexican Association of Psychology and Community Development seeks an online volunteer to update and enhance its institutional website. The primary goal is to improve accessibility to information about the organization's services and activities. The volunteer's contribution will focus exclusively on technical tasks, including content uploading and updating, basic configuration adjustments, enabling multilingual functionalities, reviewing plugins, and proposing SEO improvements. This assignment does not involve providing psychological consultations or direct contact with service beneficiaries.
Responsibilities
The online volunteer will be responsible for updating the organization's website. This includes basic content uploading, site configuration enhancements, general updates, implementing multilingual capabilities, managing plugins, improving SEO, and proposing overall website enhancements. Key duties involve ensuring the website accurately reflects the organization's services and activities. The volunteer will manage content, optimize site performance, and contribute to the website's technical functionality and user experience, ensuring it serves as an effective information portal for the association's work in mental health and community development.
Work Experience
Experience with WordPress is essential. The role requires experience in managing and configuring plugins. Basic knowledge of SEO is desirable. Familiarity with online donation plugins (e.g., Stripe, Give) is a plus. The volunteer should be proactive, responsible, and possess initiative, with a commitment to their work and the ability to edit web pages.
Skills
