Job Purpose
This assignment aims to support the Government of Antioquia in updating its Public Policy on Disability by strengthening its normative component. The volunteer will contribute to the process of developing policy priorities and indicators by providing a clear and organized overview of the relevant national and territorial legal framework concerning the rights of persons with disabilities. This work is crucial for ensuring that the updated policy effectively guarantees the rights of persons with disabilities, promoting social inclusion and sustainable human development, and centering the management of territorial entities around key guiding norms.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to support the review and organization of the national and territorial normative framework related to the rights of persons with disabilities. This organized information will serve as a foundational input for the update of Antioquia's Public Policy on Disability. The expected outcome is a concise and well-structured document detailing the prioritized normative framework. This involves analyzing existing legislation, identifying key regulations, and synthesizing this information into a usable format to guide the policy revision process and ensure alignment with national and territorial legal obligations.
