It supports countries in developing policies, leadership, partnerships, and strengthening institutions to build resilience and achieve development outcomes. The Peace, Justice, and Crisis Response unit within UNDP Colombia manages a significant volume of knowledge products crucial for its thematic work and for allies.
Job Purpose
This role supports the Peace, Justice, and Crisis Response unit in Colombia by managing its extensive collection of knowledge products. These products, including methodologies, reports, research, and toolkits, are vital assets for innovation, replication of successful experiences, and advising counterparts. The primary objective is to ensure these valuable resources are accessible and up-to-date within the unit's online repository, "El Repo," facilitating efficient knowledge sharing and utilization to support UNDP's mandate of leaving no one behind.
Responsibilities
The volunteer will be responsible for registering and classifying knowledge products identified by UNDP for upload to the online repository "El Repo." This involves reviewing provided databases and associated files, verifying that documents match database descriptions, completing missing information, correcting erroneous data, and uploading each document to the platform according to UNDP's instructions. The successful completion of this assignment will result in all identified knowledge products being accurately recorded in "El Repo," with a fully updated knowledge product database. The volunteer will receive an evaluation and a certificate of appreciation upon completion.
Work Experience
Required experience includes strong attention to detail, analytical skills, good reading comprehension, a methodical approach, and results orientation. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and a good understanding of digital tools are necessary. Basic knowledge of generative AI (LLMs) is desirable but not essential, as it can be acquired during the assignment.
