Job Purpose
This role supports the upcoming Africa Marine Litter and Plastic Pollution Conference (AMLPPC01) by assisting with online fundraising and grant proposal drafting. The volunteer will contribute to addressing escalating coastal pollution and data gaps, aligning with the Abidjan Convention's operationalization. The assignment provides an opportunity to learn about environmental conservation and take action. The volunteer will work remotely, utilizing the organization's NGO account for fundraising activities, and will focus on securing resources for this vital environmental initiative.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to assist with online fundraising and draft grant proposals for the upcoming 2027 Conference on marine debris and plastic pollution. This involves leveraging the organization's premium NGO account to secure funding.
