Design of UNDP Anti-Corruption Reports and Social Media Posts

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is a key UN agency for sustainable development, integrating efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The Governance, Rule of Law, and Peacebuilding Hub (GRP) focuses on improving UNDP's positioning and resource mobilization by advancing effective solutions for accountable governance, crisis prevention, and peacebuilding. This role supports the anti-corruption team within the GRP Hub, which addresses the significant challenge of corruption in public procurement globally.
Job Purpose
This role aims to enhance the visibility and impact of UNDP's anti-corruption initiatives through professional graphic design. The volunteer will be responsible for transforming complex, word-based reports into visually engaging designed documents using Canva. Additionally, the volunteer will create compelling graphics for weekly social media posts to communicate key findings and promote awareness about anti-corruption efforts in public procurement. The assignment contributes to evidence-based reforms and supports UNDP's global advocacy for integrity in governance and development.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility is to redesign five word-based reports into visually appealing formats using Canva. These include country case studies on Italy and Saudi Arabia, a global report on public procurement, a global analysis of business experiences with bribery, and a compendium on AI and anti-corruption. Each report redesign is allocated two weeks, assuming four hours of work per day. A secondary responsibility involves designing graphics for the anti-corruption team's weekly social media posts, requiring approximately two hours per post, totaling six working days over the assignment duration. This includes creating 12 posts in total.
Work Experience
A minimum of three years of experience as a graphic designer is required. Fluency in English is also a mandatory requirement for this role.
Skills
Proficiency in graphic design, particularly using Canva, is essential. The ability to translate complex information into clear visual formats is crucial. Strong communication skills, demonstrated by fluency in English, are also required. The role values creativity and the ability to produce engaging visual content for both reports and social media.
