Graphic Design and Layout Support for Project Reports

UNDP Maldives has been a development partner for over 45 years, providing technical assistance and advisory services to the Government. The office supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals through partnerships with various stakeholders, focusing on climate resilience, democratic governance, and sustainable growth.
Job Purpose
This role provides essential graphic design and layout support for a series of UNDP project reports in the Maldives. The primary purpose is to ensure these publications are visually appealing, professionally formatted, and align with project branding guidelines for effective dissemination. The assignment contributes to the clear communication of project outcomes and supports the overall goals of UNDP Maldives by producing high-quality, publication-ready materials suitable for digital distribution and public use.
Responsibilities
The Online Volunteer will provide graphic design and publication layout support for three project reports, working under the guidance of the Project Manager and collaborating with the project team. Key duties include designing and formatting approximately 120 pages per report, applying project branding standards (fonts, colors, logos), and developing professional page layouts and templates. Responsibilities also encompass designing cover pages, section dividers, infographics, tables, and charts, ensuring visual consistency across all reports. The volunteer will prepare reports for publication and digital dissemination, incorporate feedback, and deliver finalized reports in editable and PDF formats, including all design assets.
Work Experience
Required experience includes demonstrated expertise in graphic design and publication layout, proficiency with design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva, and prior experience designing reports and publications. A strong understanding of branding standards and the ability to create charts and infographics are also essential.
