Job Purpose
The HR Associate (Recruitment and System Support) is crucial for ensuring the effective and efficient execution of global recruitment processes. This role provides essential operational and advisory support to HR practitioners worldwide, focusing on managing recruitment lifecycles, troubleshooting system issues, and facilitating the adoption of new HR technologies. The position aims to enhance talent acquisition efficiency, ensure compliance with organizational policies, and support the overall HR strategy by enabling timely and effective recruitment across UNOPS.
Responsibilities
Manage global talent acquisition processes in collaboration with HR practitioners and hiring managers, ensuring adherence to policy and best practices throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Proactively facilitate, monitor, and drive recruitment processes, identifying and resolving issues to ensure timely talent acquisition. Provide guidance on recruitment policy and best practices for consistency and compliance. Support the mainstreaming of HR policy and process changes within the global HR community. Offer first-level support and troubleshooting for the Talent+ recruitment and onboarding system, providing guidance on its functionality and encouraging adoption. Organize and deliver training sessions on system functionalities and HR processes. Support centralized system features for integrity and efficiency. Provide operational support for critical recruitment activities, including candidate checks. Contribute to accurate system data capture and analysis by monitoring usage and promoting proper data entry. Support communication of HR policy changes and new initiatives, providing necessary guidance.
Work Experience
Requires relevant experience in Human Resource Management and proficiency with collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, G-Suite) and web-based management systems. Experience in multicultural environments, UN system organizations, or in development/humanitarian contexts is desirable.
