National Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) and Climate Change Coordinator

Job Purpose
To coordinate, provide technical oversight, and ensure quality assurance of project activities in Thailand, focusing on Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) and climate change mitigation within the ceramic tableware value chain.
Responsibilities
Coordinate national project implementation, monitor progress, manage risks, and report to UNIDO HQ. Facilitate stakeholder engagement with public institutions, industry associations, and private sector actors. Provide local insights for consultancy TOR development and procurement processes. Act as the national technical counterpart for consultancies, providing oversight, quality assurance, and review of deliverables. Facilitate consultations, support M&E, and contribute to the dissemination of project findings.
Work Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in resource efficiency, cleaner production, or climate change mitigation initiatives within manufacturing value chains, preferably in the ceramics sector. Minimum 3 years of experience in coordination and liaison with national and private sector stakeholders and intermediary institutions, preferably related to sustainability or climate change mitigation. Demonstrated experience working with technical cooperation or development assistance programs in Thailand. Excellent communication and coordination skills, including experience with multiple stakeholders and SMEs. Experience with the ceramic tableware value chain is desirable.
