Organizational Context
The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) promotes industrial development for poverty reduction, inclusive globalization, and environmental sustainability. UNIDO's mission is to promote and accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrial development in Member States, aligning with the 2030 Agenda and SDG-9. The Division of Agribusiness and Infrastructure Development (IET/AGR) supports Member States in sustainable rural development and agribusiness modernization, addressing food security, poverty alleviation, and climate change.
Job Purpose
To support the Division of Agribusiness and Infrastructure Development (IET/AGR) in its communication and outreach activities, contributing to the dissemination of project information, success stories, and the Division's mandate.
Responsibilities
Support the development of communication guidelines and templates for projects. Assist in drafting outreach materials, presentations, leaflets, and brochures. Collate and curate media-worthy information for dissemination. Support the organization of webinars and information sessions. Collaborate with data teams to prepare articles for media publicity. Prepare an end-of-internship report.
