Job Purpose

UNICEF is in the first year of implementing its new Strategic Plan, 2026-2029, and requires comprehensive analytical processes to assess progress, examine factors influencing pace and scale, and inform pathways to accelerate organizational performance. The Global Effectiveness Review (GER) is a key process to inform strategic decisions, assess progress at global, regional, and country levels, and generate recommendations for evidence-informed adjustments in programmes, strategies, and approaches. This consultancy will contribute to the GER by conducting data analytics and trend analysis to identify performance gaps and approaches that can accelerate impact at scale, informing the Mid-Term Review of the Strategic Plan and Integrated Budget.

Identify performance gaps and recommend approaches to accelerate impact at scale. Generate insights and findings to inform the Mid-Term Review (MTR) of the Strategic Plan and Integrated Budget. Collaborate with the UNICEF Strategic Planning and Analytics (SPA) unit within the Office of Strategy and Evidence – Innocenti. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing analytical findings and recommendations. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process.
