Job Purpose

This includes developing and implementing communication strategies, creating compelling content (press releases, web stories, newsletters, social media posts), and ensuring all communications adhere to EU and UNICEF branding and visibility guidelines. Coordinate daily with communication focal points from partner UN agencies (UNDP, UNFPA, ILO) for the EU4PEOPLE programme to ensure cohesive messaging and joint visibility efforts. Manage and execute communication activities for the Roma Assistance Programme, contributing to its visibility objectives. Plan, organize, and manage programme events, including logistics, protocol, vendor coordination, and ensuring appropriate visibility of EU funding. Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, organizing press events and conducting media outreach to amplify programme messages. Produce ethical, evidence-based, and human-interest stories that highlight programme achievements and impact on beneficiaries, particularly focusing on vulnerable groups like children and Roma communities. Ensure respectful, non-stigmatizing communication practices, informed consent, and data protection in all communication materials.
