Job Purpose

The Implementing Partnership Management Specialist will provide essential technical and administrative support to ensure the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of managing implementing partnerships within the country office. This role is crucial for aligning partnership management with UNICEF's operational policies and procedures, and for mainstreaming risk-based approaches at the country office level. The specialist will also offer technical guidance and support to five field offices, facilitating the decentralization of partnership management functions. The specialist will utilize corporate tools like InSight and e-Tools for reporting on partnership management status, identifying high-risk areas, and monitoring internal processes to meet corporate timelines, especially during humanitarian responses. Additionally, the role includes serving as the custodian of partnership documentation, designing and implementing capacity-building initiatives for both CO staff and implementing partners on CSO procedures and partnership management, and participating in Enterprise Risk Management exercises to identify and mitigate risks associated with implementing partnerships.
