The consultant will facilitate capacity building for key stakeholders, ensuring effective implementation and sustainability of social protection initiatives. This position aims to enhance the skills of national partners to better address the needs of vulnerable populations, including children, and to leverage opportunities for increased domestic resource mobilization for social protection programs. Responsibilities
The consultant will design and deliver the TRANSFORM training program for key stakeholders involved in social protection in Guinea. This includes developing training materials tailored to the Guinean context, facilitating interactive training sessions, and ensuring participants gain practical skills and knowledge. The consultant will work closely with government ministries, including the Ministry of Employment, Labour and Social Protection (METPS) and the Ministry of Women, Family and Social Solidarity (MFFS), as well as implementing agencies like FDSI and ANIES. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, adapting the TRANSFORM curriculum, and providing post-training support. The consultant will also monitor the progress of participants and evaluate the effectiveness of the training. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the broader UNICEF strategy for social protection in Guinea, identifying opportunities for further capacity building and policy advocacy. The consultant will ensure that the training aligns with national policies and international best practices, fostering collaboration among different actors to avoid duplication and optimize resource utilization. The consultant will also be responsible for reporting on training activities, outcomes, and lessons learned.
