Job Purpose
Under the guidance of the direct supervisor, the Fund Raising Officer (Donor Retention and Value Maximization) supports the section through providing a range of procedural, administrative, and operational support in developing, implementing, executing and monitoring private sector (PSFR) fundraising activities, ensuring effective and timely delivery that is consistent with UNICEF rules and regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing donors, ensuring their continued support and maximizing their long-term value to UNICEF's mission. The officer will contribute to strategic planning and execution of donor retention initiatives, develop engaging donor journeys, and monitor campaign performance to optimize value maximization efforts, all while ensuring adherence to UNICEF's operational standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
The Fund Raising Officer (Donor Retention and Value Maximization) will provide essential support to the section by contributing to the development, planning, and execution of donor retention and value maximization strategies. This includes actively participating in the creation and implementation of tailored donor journeys designed to foster deeper engagement and loyalty. The role involves monitoring, evaluating, and optimizing the performance of donor value maximization campaigns, utilizing data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Additionally, the officer will provide crucial logistical and administrative support for fundraising activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely execution of tasks. This encompasses managing campaign-related documentation, coordinating communication efforts, and assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations related to private sector fundraising initiatives, all in alignment with UNICEF's operational framework and objectives.
Work Experience
At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in communication, fundraising, private sector fundraising, donor retention, donor relations, customer relationship management, marketing, communications, data analysis, campaign management, database management, or email marketing is required.
