Job Purpose

The consultant will contribute to the integration of Education for Sustainable Development (ErEDD) into the national education system in Madagascar. This role involves analyzing existing frameworks, consulting with stakeholders, observing school practices, and co-constructing a strategic framework and a five-year action plan. Third, field observations in schools will document pedagogical practices, classroom behaviors, and ErEDD dynamics, incorporating local knowledge. Fifth, a detailed five-year action plan will be developed, outlining objectives, activities, timelines, responsibilities, and budget. Sixth, support will be provided for the technical and political validation and dissemination of the strategic document through communication and outreach strategies. Finally, priority ErEDD themes will be identified for integration into learning, and the pedagogical architecture for training modules will be defined, focusing on active and inclusive pedagogical practices.
