Job Purpose

The Partnerships Officer will play a crucial role in advancing UNICEF's mission across the Caribbean by fostering and strengthening strategic partnerships. This position is vital for mobilizing resources, influencing policy, and enhancing the delivery of results for children in the region. The officer will engage with governments, civil society organizations, the private sector, and other stakeholders to build collaborative frameworks that address the complex challenges faced by children, including learning losses, mental health concerns, violence, child poverty, and climate-related disasters. By leveraging UNICEF's comparative advantages and promoting regional cooperation, the Partnerships Officer will contribute to innovative, system-based solutions that ensure every child has the right to results, particularly the most vulnerable.

Manage existing relationships with key partners, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and mutual accountability. Represent UNICEF in relevant forums, working groups, and inter-agency meetings to advocate for children's rights and promote UNICEF's mandate.
