Job Purpose
The Sr. Business Analyst Associate will contribute to the Quality Assurance stream within the Business Performance Modernization (BPM) Section. This role is vital for ensuring the quality and reliability of modernized business processes and systems. The incumbent will support the identification, analysis, and documentation of business requirements, focusing on quality assurance aspects throughout the development and implementation lifecycle. This position aims to enhance the overall performance and efficiency of UNICEF's business operations by ensuring that solutions meet high-quality standards and effectively address user needs and organizational objectives. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in business processes and IT solutions.
Responsibilities
Support the Quality Assurance stream within the Business Performance Modernization (BPM) Section by participating in the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance strategies and processes. Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements and system functionalities to identify potential quality issues and risks. Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to validate system performance, functionality, and adherence to requirements. Document and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Assist in the preparation of user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support to end-users during testing phases. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials related to quality assurance. Participate in cross-functional team meetings to discuss project progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions. Ensure that all quality assurance activities align with UNICEF's standards and best practices. Provide support for the continuous improvement of BPM initiatives by gathering feedback and identifying areas for enhancement in quality assurance processes. Assist in the development of performance metrics and reporting related to quality assurance outcomes.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in business analysis, quality assurance, or a related IT field is required. Experience in system testing, requirements gathering, and process documentation is essential.
