Job Purpose

The primary purpose of this consultancy is to design and develop a comprehensive suite of practical, user-friendly training tools and materials. These resources will be instrumental in ensuring the effective understanding and consistent implementation of the RISE Inclusion Standard Operating Procedures (SoP) by all responsible implementers. The consultancy will focus on translating the complex SoP into accessible training content, specifically tailored to meet the needs of various user groups. A key objective is to strengthen the capacity of users and implementers to operationalize inclusion standards throughout the entire RISE learner journey, from initial outreach to final certification. Furthermore, the developed tools will cultivate a shared understanding of critical concepts such as gender equality, the participation of young people, disability inclusion, and the inclusion of refugees, ensuring a holistic approach to inclusive programming.

Responsibilities

Design and develop a comprehensive package of training tools and materials to support the operationalization of the RISE Inclusion Standard Operating Procedures (SoP). Translate the SoP into accessible and engaging training content tailored for diverse user groups, including implementers, community workers, and beneficiaries. Develop facilitator guides, participant workbooks, case studies, and other relevant learning resources. Ensure training materials effectively address key concepts such as gender equality, young people's participation, disability inclusion, and refugee inclusion. Strengthen the capacity of users and implementers to operationalize inclusion standards across the RISE learner journey, from outreach to certification. Integrate Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) approaches to address stigma, discrimination, harmful gender and disability norms, and other barriers to inclusion. Collaborate with relevant UNICEF sections, government institutions, Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), and youth-led organizations to ensure the relevance and applicability of the training tools. Pilot test training materials and incorporate feedback for refinement. Ensure all developed tools are aligned with UNICEF's policies and global best practices in inclusion and safeguarding. Provide recommendations for the rollout and sustainability of the training program.

Work Experience

At least 7-10 years of relevant professional experience in training design, curriculum development, facilitation, and/or capacity strengthening. Demonstrated experience in gender and inclusion programming, including gender-transformative approaches and young women-centered design. Proven experience developing tools for multi-stakeholder programs, community-based interventions, and/or education programs. Strong knowledge of disability inclusion, accessibility, safeguarding, and PSEA frameworks.
