International Consultancy: Spanish Translation, Quality Review and Content Edition of EP Response E-learning Courses

Job Purpose
UNICEF LACRO aims to strengthen emergency preparedness and response capacities by expanding access to quality learning opportunities. However, many mandatory e-learning courses are currently available only in English, limiting access for Spanish-speaking audiences across the region. To address this, UNICEF requires the translation and publication of nine existing self-paced e-learning courses into Spanish. The consultant will translate, quality assure, and publish all course components, including text, graphics, downloadable resources, subtitles, navigation elements, and other visual assets. The final deliverable is nine fully translated, quality-assured Articulate Rise courses in Spanish, published in Agora and approved through UNICEF's review process.
Responsibilities
Translate nine existing self-paced e-learning courses from English into Spanish. This includes all course components such as text, graphics, downloadable resources, subtitles, navigation elements, and other visual assets. Conduct quality assurance reviews of the translated content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to UNICEF's editorial standards. Edit and proofread the translated materials to ensure grammatical correctness, clarity, and appropriate tone. Manage the publication of the translated courses in Articulate Rise. Ensure all translated content is published in Agora, UNICEF's learning management system. Coordinate remotely with UNICEF teams throughout the translation and publication process. Ensure timely delivery of all translated and quality-assured e-learning courses. Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout all tasks. Utilize AI-assisted translation tools while ensuring human quality assurance. Work independently to manage workload and meet deadlines.
Work Experience
At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in translation, editing, or localization of learning materials. Demonstrated experience translating online learning courses or digital educational content. Experience working with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise 360, Storyline 360 or equivalent).
