Job Purpose

The People and Culture Officer (RME) supports the Recruitment Centre of Expertise (RCoE), UNICEF’s global hub for recruitment excellence. This role strengthens the quality, integrity, consistency, and effectiveness of UNICEF’s recruitment processes, including staff recruitment, monitoring, evaluation, and learning. The Officer contributes to the RCoE’s mandate by supporting post-facto reviews of recruitment cases, assessing alignment with UNICEF’s Staff Selection Policy, diversity and inclusion principles, candidate experience standards, and best practices. The role also supports the generation of recruitment insights, identification of systemic issues and good practices, and translation of lessons learned into practical guidance, tools, and capacity-building initiatives for the People and Culture community and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

1. Recruitment Monitoring, Evaluation and Quality Assurance: Support post-facto reviews of completed recruitment cases to assess alignment with UNICEF’s Staff Selection Policy, diversity and inclusion principles, candidate experience standards, and recognized recruitment best practices. 2. Recruitment Evidence, Analytics and Insights: Assist in the generation of recruitment insights, identification of systemic issues, and documentation of good practices. 3. Recruitment Excellence, Continuous Improvement and Lessons Learned: Contribute to the translation of lessons learned into practical guidance, tools, and capacity-building initiatives. 4. Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing: Support the development and delivery of learning materials and initiatives for the People and Culture community and hiring managers. 5. Recruitment Advisory and Stakeholder Support: Provide support to the People and Culture Specialist in advising stakeholders on recruitment policies and procedures. 6. Recruitment Knowledge Management Support: Assist in maintaining and updating recruitment knowledge management systems and resources.

Work Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in human resources, recruitment, recruitment monitoring, recruitment evaluation, talent acquisition, HR analytics, or organizational learning in an international organization and/or large corporation.
