Job Purpose

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical preparation, facilitation, and documentation for a five-day training workshop. This workshop is designed for INDRAP officials and associated stakeholders, focusing on the action research methodology applied within the education sector. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the training, equipping participants with the necessary skills and knowledge in action research. This includes developing training materials, leading interactive sessions, and documenting the outcomes and learnings from the workshop to contribute to the enhancement of educational research practices in Niger.

Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for the technical preparation of the training workshop, including the development of relevant content and materials on action research methodology tailored for the education sector. They will lead and facilitate a five-day training workshop for INDRAP officials and associated stakeholders, ensuring active participation and engagement. The consultant will also be responsible for documenting the workshop proceedings, including key discussions, outcomes, and recommendations. This documentation will serve as a valuable resource for INDRAP and other relevant partners. Additionally, the consultant will provide support in the application of action research principles post-workshop, as needed, and contribute to the final reporting on the consultancy's deliverables and impact. Experience in qualitative and quantitative research, educational problem analysis, and technical team support is crucial for this role.

Work Experience

At least eight years of professional experience in conducting training, studies, research, or pedagogical experiments in the education sector. Demonstrated experience in action research methodology, qualitative and quantitative research, and analysis of educational problems is required.
