People and Culture Officer (Outreach & Employer Branding)

Job Purpose
The People and Culture Officer (Talent Outreach) provides professional support to the implementation of UNICEF's talent outreach strategy. The incumbent contributes to strengthening UNICEF's employer brand by coordinating outreach initiatives, career fairs, and academic partnerships. The position is responsible for the operational implementation of assigned outreach activities, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and continuous improvement, supporting headquarters, regional, and country offices in expanding UNICEF's visibility and attracting qualified and diverse candidates. This role is crucial in promoting UNICEF as an employer of choice and fostering a diverse and passionate workforce.
Responsibilities
The People and Culture Officer (Talent Outreach) will support the People and Culture Manager (Talent Engagement and Acquisition) in executing UNICEF's global talent outreach strategy. Key responsibilities include coordinating and implementing employer branding initiatives, such as career fairs, online events, and engagement with academic institutions, to enhance UNICEF's visibility among students and early-career professionals. The role involves managing partnerships with universities and other organizations to identify and attract diverse talent pools. Operational coordination of outreach programs, including logistical arrangements, communication, and follow-up, is essential. The incumbent will also contribute to capacity building for relevant stakeholders and provide client support to country and regional offices. Monitoring the effectiveness of outreach activities, gathering data, and reporting on outcomes for continuous improvement are also key functions. This includes managing digital engagement platforms and professional networking tools to broaden reach and impact.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in human resources, talent outreach, employer branding, stakeholder engagement, or a related field is required.
