Job Purpose
The Fundraising Associate (Strategy & Partners) at the GS-6 level supports the implementation and monitoring of acquisition activities, reporting to the Fundraising Officer (Acquisition). This role is crucial for ensuring effective coordination with agencies and suppliers, timely follow-up of campaign execution, and accurate monitoring of results and costs. By providing reliable information for management decisions and contributing to the efficient execution of acquisition initiatives, the position directly supports UNICEF Chile's capacity to expand and diversify its donor base. This expansion is vital for generating sustainable regular resources necessary to fulfill UNICEF's mandate of protecting children's rights and potential worldwide. The role aims to enhance the Country Office's fundraising effectiveness and contribute to achieving income and donor targets.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Fundraising Officer (Acquisition), the Fundraising Associate is responsible for supporting the management, coordination, and follow-up of offline acquisition activities with agencies, suppliers, and key counterparts to achieve income, expenditure, and donor targets. This includes providing technical support for the implementation and monitoring of these activities and supplier performance, as well as contributing to strategy development, content, and timelines for campaigns. The role involves monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) and Return on Investment (ROI). Additionally, the Associate will provide technical support for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), including negotiations, and maintain positive relationships with all involved parties. The position requires effective implementation and coordination of offline acquisition activities, assisting in the execution of plans and supporting coordination with agencies and suppliers through meetings and reports. Responsibilities also include preparing responses to agency and supplier requests, monitoring activities, performance, and costs, and supporting cost planning and projections. The Associate will also contribute to quality reporting, share information with regional and global teams, and perform administrative tasks.
Work Experience
A minimum of six years of relevant work experience in fundraising, marketing, or a related field is required. Experience in managing external suppliers and monitoring campaign performance is essential.
