Job Purpose

The UNICEF Country Office in Croatia is seeking a Face-to-Face (F2F) Fundraiser to recruit regular donors throughout 2026. Fundraising activities will take place in Zagreb, Rijeka, and other cities nationwide, requiring a team of 35-50 fundraisers. Structured private sector fundraising is a core role for UNICEF Croatia, as outlined in the 2023-2027 Country Programme Document. Face-to-face fundraising has been identified as a key method for acquiring pledges and will continue to be central to the 2023-2027 Programme Cycle. This role is crucial for ensuring sustainable funding for UNICEF's programmatic efforts and its positive impact on children's lives.

Responsibilities

Represent UNICEF, its vision, and mission professionally. Acquire regular donors by effectively communicating UNICEF's program activities and the importance of sustainable private sector funding. Conduct continuous research and update knowledge through UNICEF's website, social media, newsletters, and meetings. Collect and handle sensitive donor information with the utmost confidentiality and security. Adhere to work schedules and promptly submit administrative tasks and paperwork, including timesheets, pledge forms, and donor inquiries, to F2F Fundraising Team Leaders or the Office. Follow all instructions and procedures for work delivery, reporting all relevant information to supervisors. Maintain highly professional conduct during official travel, aligning with organizational values. Provide general support to fundraising activities as needed to achieve targets.

Work Experience

Previous experience in face-to-face fundraising, sales, or customer service is desirable. Experience working with NGOs or in a non-profit sector is a plus.
