Job Purpose
The purpose of this consultancy is to contribute to the objectives of the Education Sector in Lima, Peru. The consultant will be responsible for supporting various initiatives and projects aimed at advancing educational goals within the region. This role requires a dedicated professional who can effectively contribute to the sector's work, ensuring the implementation of strategies and programs. The consultant will work on assignments that align with UNESCO's mission to promote quality education for all and foster lifelong learning opportunities. The position is for a duration of 6 months.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be tasked with supporting the Education Sector's operational activities in Lima, Peru. This includes assisting in the planning, execution, and monitoring of educational projects and programs. Responsibilities may involve research, data collection, analysis, and the preparation of reports and documents. The consultant will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. They will also contribute to the development of educational strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with UNESCO's global priorities. The role involves active participation in meetings, workshops, and other relevant events, providing support for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the sector.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in the education sector is required. Experience in project support, research, or program implementation within an international organization or NGO is desirable.
