Job Purpose
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience within UNESCO's Digital Bureau Solution (DBS). Interns will support DBS in its mission to enhance UNESCO's digital strategy, contributing to improved project and knowledge management, robust IT infrastructure, and advanced cybersecurity measures. The role involves providing specialized assistance across various projects under the guidance of the DBS management team. Interns will be exposed to the organization's work, developing technical skills and gaining insights into international organizational operations. Responsibilities
Interns will contribute to various projects within the Digital Bureau Solution, potentially focusing on Operations, Helpdesk, Network, Server, and Cloud domains. Responsibilities may include monitoring network performance, diagnosing connectivity issues, and gaining hands-on experience with network device configuration. Interns might also assist in setting up and configuring cloud resources on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and support the migration of on-premises applications. Troubleshooting network problems and maintaining network documentation are also key tasks. In Cybersecurity, Compliance, and AI, interns could support the deployment and testing of AI/GAI models, create content for cybersecurity awareness workshops, and coordinate simulated phishing campaigns. For Development, Architecture, and Engineering, responsibilities may involve assisting in the design and coding of web or cloud-based applications, enhancing user interfaces, preparing reports, and performing data cleaning and transformation. Debugging, testing, quality assurance, and documenting application features and development processes will also be integral parts of the role.
Work Experience
