Job Purpose

The Strategic Planning and Analysis Analyst will support the effective implementation of UNDP's Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DDR) programme in Ethiopia. This role focuses on providing timely political and conflict analysis, developing strategic communication, and facilitating high-level engagement with national and international stakeholders, including the National Rehabilitation Commission (NRC). The analyst will prepare monthly informal reports and visual presentations, contribute analytical inputs for senior leadership and inter-agency forums, and support knowledge management. Additionally, the role assists in preparing for international donor conferences, providing intelligence and analysis, and supports proposal development by integrating risk and context analysis into project documents, linking DDR work with broader peacebuilding efforts.
