The Côte d'Ivoire Country Office is engaged in implementing programs for inclusive sustainable development, green growth, innovation, and governance, with a significant focus on peacebuilding and climate resilience initiatives.
Job Purpose
This internship aims to provide students with practical work experience to enhance their educational background within the UNDP framework. It offers exposure to an international environment and deepens understanding of UNDP's objectives, principles, and activities. The role specifically supports the Inclusive Sustainable Development (ISD) team in Côte d'Ivoire, contributing to communication, knowledge management, and partnership development, with a focus on the Digital Flagship Project. The intern will assist in event preparation, content creation, results valorization, and partner relations, reporting to the Digital Flagship Project Manager.
Responsibilities
The intern will support the preparation and execution of events for the ISD team and the Digital Flagship Project, including concept development, program planning, invitations, material preparation, logistical support, event coverage, and reporting. Responsibilities include drafting briefing notes, talking points, meeting minutes, and project summaries in French and English. The role involves creating and producing social media content (posts, visuals, reels, stories), maintaining an editorial calendar, and preparing communication tools such as brochures, project sheets, infographics, and newsletters, adhering to UNDP's graphic charter. Additionally, the intern will assist in knowledge management by capitalizing on lessons learned, preparing case studies, and organizing team documentation, as well as supporting partnership development with Italian, Ivorian, and international partners.
