Organizational Context

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Chile collaborates with the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (MINVU) to enhance urban and housing development. This role supports the design and delivery of training programs aimed at strengthening the capacities of stakeholders in territorial planning and construction, contributing to sustainable and inclusive urban environments.

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for the instructional design and content development of training programs, courses, and technical specializations for the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (MINVU). The objective is to equip public and private sector professionals with the necessary academic and practical knowledge in urban planning and related fields. The position will analyze, systematize, and prepare educational materials, design learning trajectories tailored to different target groups, and ensure content is compatible with digital learning platforms. This contributes to MINVU's mandate to train key actors in territorial planning and construction, fostering effective knowledge exchange and capacity building across various stakeholder levels.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include analyzing, systematizing, and developing academic, technical, and normative content for training programs, including learning outcomes, evaluation instruments, and study materials. The role involves designing certification mechanisms and developing scripts for asynchronous training modules. It also requires designing differentiated programs and courses tailored to specific target groups, such as officials, technical teams, and authorities, ensuring alignment with MINVU's guidelines. Preparing course content for compatibility with Moodle 5.2 and identifying/organizing relevant bibliographical and normative resources are crucial. Continuous communication and coordination with MINVU units to validate content and address any inconsistencies are essential for the successful implementation of training initiatives.

Work Experience

Experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and content creation for training programs is essential. Experience in adult education methodologies, familiarity with learning management systems (like Moodle), and knowledge of urban planning or public administration are highly desirable.
