Organizational Context

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) collaborates with Chile's Ministry of Housing and Urbanism (MINVU) to advance urban development with high standards of quality, connectivity, and environmental sustainability. This role supports the Urban Development Division and the Training Center by coordinating and managing specialized e-learning courses, contributing to strengthening MINVU's capacity and its engagement with citizens and organizations.

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for the coordination, dissemination, application review, and comprehensive follow-up of specialized e-learning courses offered through the MINVU platform. The position will manage course logistics, ensure content is correctly uploaded, provide timely academic and technical support to students, and monitor course performance using data analytics. The objective is to facilitate the effective delivery of training programs, support decision-making through performance analysis, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the educational offerings, ultimately strengthening MINVU's capabilities and its connection with the public.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include coordinating and disseminating e-learning courses via MINVU channels, reviewing applications to create waiting lists, and monitoring student participation to prevent dropouts. The role involves managing content on the e-learning platform, responding to academic inquiries within 48 hours, and coordinating with technical areas. Additionally, the position requires administering and tracking learning analytics tools, designing and analyzing performance indicators (participation, progress, completion, dropout rates), and identifying learning gaps to propose corrective actions. The role also entails preparing executive reports to support decision-making, generating recommendations for process optimization, and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented actions and course quality through data analysis and satisfaction surveys.

Work Experience

A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required with a high school diploma, or 1 year of relevant experience with a university degree. Relevant experience includes managing virtual classrooms, distance learning systems, and experience in delivering synchronous and/or asynchronous courses.

Skills

Proficiency in e-learning platforms such as Moodle, strong communication (written and verbal), project management, monitoring and evaluation, client satisfaction management, relationship management, knowledge generation, and online facilitation using virtual whiteboard tools.
