Organizational Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is implementing the "Justiça 4.0" project, a significant digital transformation initiative for the Brazilian Judiciary. This project, a collaboration with the National Council of Justice (CNJ), aims to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and accessibility of judicial services through technological solutions. The role supports the project's agile software development processes.
Job Purpose
The Scrum Associate will support the organization, execution, and continuous improvement of agile software development processes within the "Justiça 4.0" project. This role involves close collaboration with CNJ and UNDP focal points to facilitate agile ceremonies, monitor team activities, and track the delivery of project outputs. The objective is to ensure the effective application of agile principles and practices, contributing to the project's goal of modernizing the Brazilian Judiciary's technological infrastructure and services, aligning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda.
Responsibilities
Facilitate agile ceremonies (Planning, Daily, Review, Retrospective) and ensure adherence to agile principles. Support project planning, backlog refinement, and the creation of necessary project artifacts. Administer and monitor activities, tasks, and issues using Jira, tracking progress against deadlines and quality standards. Support solution deployment and goal monitoring. Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with CNJ and UNDP best practices. Facilitate communication among stakeholders and institutions. Systematize project learnings and best practices, producing technical documents and reports to support decision-making and institutional dissemination.
Work Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional or academic experience (with a High School Diploma) or 4 years (with a University Degree) in facilitating agile ceremonies and practices in IT projects, specifically using Scrum and Kanban, is required. Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and leading multidisciplinary teams using agile practices is also necessary.
