Organizational Context

The UNDP project Sinergia+ aims to strengthen CONANP's institutional capacity for results-based planning, financial management, and effective governance. This role supports CONANP's transparency, information access, and personal data protection processes, contributing to Result 1: Institutional strengthening and management for effective conservation in Protected Natural Areas (ANP).

Job Purpose

The Project Operations Assistant will contribute to strengthening CONANP's transparency, information access, and personal data protection processes. This involves managing and following up on information requests, reviewing documents, preparing public versions of information, and organizing institutional archives. The role directly supports the achievement of Result 1 of the Sinergia+ project, focusing on institutional strengthening and effective conservation management within Protected Natural Areas. The position is crucial for ensuring efficient information flow and compliance with transparency regulations, thereby enhancing CONANP's operational effectiveness and public accountability.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include analyzing and reviewing administrative unit responses, and assisting in the preparation of documents related to transparency and information access. The role involves supporting document management within the transparency area, including organizing, updating, and safeguarding files, records, official letters, and institutional reports. Additionally, the assistant will support the reception, registration, channeling, processing, and follow-up of information access requests pertinent to CONANP. This includes contributing to the integration, organization, updating, control, and safekeeping of files, documents, and records associated with transparency and information access processes. The role also entails supporting the updating and management of information on the National Transparency Platform and other relevant institutional tools.

Work Experience

Candidates with a high school diploma require at least 4 years of verifiable experience in Transparency Regulations. Candidates with a university degree require at least 1 year of experience in the aforementioned areas. Experience in preparing quality reports is required. Experience with information access requests, administrative-legal documents, and institutional platforms is desirable.

Skills

Experience in preparing quality reports. Desired skills include experience with information access requests, drafting resolutions and administrative-legal documents, document management, archiving, and using institutional platforms. Familiarity with legal-administrative analysis is also beneficial. Experience in Protected Natural Areas is an advantage.
