Auxiliar Operativo de Proyectos de Cooperación con América Latina y el Caribe
Organizational Context
The UNDP and AMEXCID Cooperation Program (PROCAP) has been active since 2013, supporting Mexico's international development cooperation efforts aligned with SDG 17. In its third phase (2019-2025), PROCAP aims to strengthen AMEXCID's institutional capacities, enhance its development cooperation policy, and foster strategic alliances. This role supports AMEXCID's operational structure within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Job Purpose
This role supports the implementation of technical and financial cooperation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, contributing to the consolidation of AMEXCID's institutional capacity and the strengthening of Mexico's development cooperation policy. The position involves logistical organization for development missions, data validation and analysis, report generation, and the development of procedural manuals. The objective is to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation initiatives and support decision-making processes within AMEXCID, aligning with national development priorities and international cooperation frameworks.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of technical and financial cooperation projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. This involves participating in the logistical and operational organization of development missions, ensuring proper documentation and resource flow. The role also entails supporting the validation and analysis of large data volumes from AMEXCID programs, preparing executive reports, databases, and indicators to aid agency decision-making. Additionally, the position will contribute to the development of institutional procedural manuals for staff training and the digitalization of workflows, enhancing operational efficiency.
Work Experience
For candidates with a high school diploma, a minimum of 2 years of experience in general public or private administration is required. Candidates with a completed Bachelor's degree do not require prior experience, but it will be considered.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in administrative and logistical processes. Experience managing databases. Basic experience analyzing economic or financial information. Experience developing process or procedure manuals. Experience working or studying in a Latin American (other than Mexico) or Caribbean country is desirable.
