Organizational Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is implementing the Justiça 4.0 program, a large-scale digital transformation initiative for the Brazilian Judiciary. This program, a collaboration with the National Council of Justice (CNJ), aims to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and accessibility of Brazilian justice services through technological solutions. The role of the Test Associate is within the transversal QA team, contributing to the evolution of quality assurance practices for the program's technology solutions.
Job Purpose
The Test Associate will be a key member of the Justiça 4.0 program's transversal QA team, focusing on advancing software quality assurance practices for the program's technology solutions. This role involves close collaboration with project teams, software architects, DevOps engineers, and the CNJ technical team. The primary objective is to contribute to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies, test automation, performance testing, continuous integration, and the monitoring of quality metrics. The position plays a crucial part in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of the technological solutions developed to make Brazilian justice services more efficient and accessible, aligning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda.
Responsibilities
The Test Associate will support the definition and evolution of quality assurance strategies across projects, providing technical guidance to QAs on functional, automated, and performance testing. This includes promoting methodological alignment and identifying process improvement opportunities. A significant part of the role involves supporting and guiding frontend and backend test automation, ensuring organization, standardization, and scalability of automated test projects, and integrating them into development workflows. The associate will also design, configure, and monitor automated test execution pipelines within CI/CD environments, assisting with parametrization, scheduling, reporting, and monitoring. Additionally, the role requires supporting the planning, execution, and analysis of performance tests, including defining scenarios, interpreting results, and consolidating technical records. Finally, the Test Associate will define, track, and disseminate QA standards, metrics, and best practices, and contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement of quality practices.
Work Experience
A minimum of 7 years of professional or academic experience in Information Technology is required for candidates with a High School Diploma, or 4 years for those with a university degree. Experience in software testing, including planning, execution, monitoring, and automation of functional, regression, integration, API, or backend tests, is essential.
