Organizational Context

Job Purpose

This internship program aims to provide students and recent graduates with exposure to development issues and practical experience within the UNDP Serbia office. By establishing a roster of qualified interns, UNDP Serbia will have a pool of candidates available for assignments throughout 2025. Interns will gain first-hand experience in the day-to-day operations of a leading UN organization, contributing to its mission of fighting poverty, inequality, and climate change while supporting Serbia's progress towards European Union accession.

Responsibilities

Interns will support Project/Portfolio Managers by conducting research, analyses, and studies. Key duties include identifying and translating national data sources, and researching regional and international data for comparative analysis. They will provide operational, logistical, and administrative support for activities such as online trainings, workshops, and conferences. Interns will also assist with communication efforts, attend and help organize events, and provide executive support to senior management when required. Additional responsibilities may include supporting external relations activities and performing other project-related tasks.
