Asociado(a) de Proyecto para el Diseño y la Implementación de Servicios de Cuidado Móviles en el Municipio de Quibdó
Organizational Context
UN Women in Colombia, through the "Entornos que Cuidan" project funded by the Government of Canada, aims to develop innovative solutions for the unequal distribution of care work. This role supports the strengthening of the care system in Quibdó municipality by designing and implementing mobile care services, contributing to gender equality and sustainable development.
Job Purpose
The Project Associate will be responsible for the comprehensive design, preparation, implementation, operation, and monitoring of Mobile Care Service Points in Quibdó municipality. This role supports the consolidation of the municipal care system, aiming to guarantee the right to care for various population groups, reduce unpaid care burdens on women, and contribute to the development of adaptable and replicable mobile care models. The position works in close coordination with UN Women and local authorities to ensure effective service delivery and integration.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the design, preparation, implementation, operation, and monitoring of Mobile Care Service Points in Quibdó. Develop a mobile care service model adaptable for other territories, documenting its components and operational requirements. Tailor the mobile care service model to Quibdó's specific needs, defining target populations, locations, services, and schedules. Coordinate needs assessments for affected populations and define services for Mobile Points, ensuring territorial relevance. Ensure articulation of teams from partner organizations and the Municipal Mayor's Office for integrated service delivery. Coordinate with national and territorial entities to complement Mobile Point services with institutional offerings in education, health, and training. Manage the reception and setup of equipment for Mobile Points. Monitor daily operations, identifying adjustments needed for service delivery, equipment, schedules, and institutional articulation. Coordinate the registration and systematization of data on users, services, and identified needs.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in project support, social program implementation, or community development is required. Experience in gender equality initiatives, care services, or working with local government structures is highly desirable. Experience in the Colombian context, particularly in the Pacific region, is an advantage.
