Job Purpose

This role supports the Vocational Training (TVET) program by facilitating the design, development, and delivery of AC Refrigeration training. The instructor will contribute to curriculum enhancement, practical skills development, and assessment of trainees, ensuring alignment with industry needs and UNRWA's quality assurance framework. The purpose is to equip Palestine refugees with essential vocational skills for improved human development and potential employment opportunities, fostering self-reliance and contributing to their overall well-being within challenging circumstances. The role emphasizes inclusive learning strategies and the integration of modern technologies and sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

Key duties include supporting the design and development of learning programs and curricula, such as conducting competency analyses and drafting training materials. The instructor will facilitate school-based and work-based learning, including setting up training venues, utilizing facilities, preparing lesson plans, and monitoring trainee progress using adult learning strategies. Responsibilities also involve preparing and conducting formative and summative assessments, developing assessment tools, and maintaining linkages with employers to gather labor market information. The role requires applying quality assurance processes, supporting green and digital TVET initiatives, and collaborating with staff to maintain a positive learning environment and implement safety measures.
