This role reports to a Senior TVET Instructor or Deputy Principal.
Job Purpose
This Vocational Training Instructor role is crucial for developing and delivering effective Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs in Auto Body Repairing & Painting for Palestine refugees. The incumbent will support curriculum design, facilitate hands-on learning using appropriate facilities and equipment, and employ adult learning strategies, including accommodating trainees with disabilities. A key aspect is ensuring the integration of Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and core skills into the training delivery. The role also involves assessing trainee progress, maintaining linkages with employers, and applying quality assurance frameworks to enhance the training cycle and support TVET greening and digitalization initiatives.
Responsibilities
The instructor will support the design and development of learning programs and curricula, including occupational analyses and drafting learning materials. They will facilitate school-based and work-based learning, manage training venues, equipment, and resources, and employ adult learning strategies while mainstreaming OSH and core skills. Responsibilities include preparing and conducting formative and summative assessments, developing assessment tools, and maintaining linkages with employers and industry stakeholders to gather labor market information. The role also involves applying quality assurance processes, supporting TVET greening and digitalization initiatives, and collaborating with staff to maintain a positive learning environment and implement OSH measures.
