Job Purpose
The TVET Instructor - Commercial (E-Business) role is crucial for developing and delivering vocational training programs that equip Palestine refugees with essential skills for human development and employment. The incumbent will support curriculum design, facilitate inclusive learning experiences in classrooms and workplaces, and employ adult learning strategies. This includes integrating new technologies, career guidance, and Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) principles. The role also involves designing and conducting formative and summative assessments, building linkages with employers, and applying quality assurance frameworks to ensure training effectiveness. By contributing to TVET greening and digitalization initiatives, the instructor helps prepare trainees for evolving labor market demands, fostering their potential and supporting their future livelihoods.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting the design and development of learning programs and curricula, conducting competency analyses, and integrating emerging technologies and career guidance. The role involves facilitating school-based and work-based learning, preparing training venues, utilizing facilities, and developing inclusive lesson plans. This includes managing learning environments, employing adult learning strategies, and mainstreaming Occupational Health and Safety (OSH) and core skills. The instructor will design and conduct formative and summative assessments, build linkages with employers and industry professionals, and utilize labor market information to identify skills gaps. Additionally, the role requires applying quality assurance tools, supporting greening and digitalization initiatives in TVET, and collaborating with staff to maintain a respectful and disciplined learning environment, while implementing OSH measures.
