Job Purpose
This role supports the design, development, and delivery of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs, specifically in English. The incumbent will contribute to curriculum development, including occupational analyses and learning materials, and facilitate inclusive learning experiences for trainees. A key aspect involves designing and implementing formative and summative assessments, ensuring alignment with quality assurance frameworks. The position also requires building linkages with employers and utilizing labor market information to inform training content. Furthermore, the role supports TVET greening and digitalization initiatives, integrating relevant skills into courses and facilitating both synchronous and asynchronous training sessions. Collaboration with colleagues to maintain a positive learning environment and adherence to safety standards are also integral to the job purpose.
Responsibilities
Supports the design and development of TVET learning programs and curricula, including occupational analyses, drafting learning guides, and integrating new technologies and career guidance. Facilitates the delivery of school-based and work-based learning, preparing venues, utilizing facilities, developing inclusive lesson plans, and managing learning environments while integrating adult learning strategies and Occupational Health and Safety (OSH). Designs and conducts formative and summative assessments, including practice-based and knowledge-based tests, and develops assessment tools. Builds linkages with employers and industry stakeholders, utilizing labor market information to identify and address skills gaps. Applies quality assurance tools and processes according to the UNRWA TVET Quality Assurance Framework. Supports and implements TVET greening and digitalization initiatives, integrating green and digital skills. Collaborates with staff to coordinate teaching, maintain a respectful environment, and implement co-curricular activities, while supporting OSH measures and reporting incidents.
